The Many Ways Of Prostate Cancer Treatment

Prostate cancer treatment is defined as a group of unique approaches to cancer cure not considered to be a conservative prostate cancer treatment, and is used instead of conventional cancer treatments.

Prostate cancer is defined as an attack of the male prostate gland by a mass of damaging cells.

Prostate cancer is most common in the United States and is the third most important cause of American cancer cases. The American Cancer Society estimates that one in six men will face a prostate cancer diagnosis during their life.

The types of Alternative Prostate Cancer Treatment:
Chinese Medicine is one of the alternative methods being used to treat prostate cancer. Also commonly called Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this holistic prostate cancer treatment is based on ancient philosophical frameworks. Traditional Chinese Medicine devises treatment programs by searching for inequalities between internal and external harmony within patients. There are eight branches of TCM: Tui na (Massage Treatment), acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese food treatment, Qigong (Breathing), T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Feng Shui, and Chinese astrology. The eight branches of Chinese medicine, like most other prostate cancer treatment, are used to ease the pain associated with the disease, as well as a remedy for the side effects affiliated with conventional cancer treatments.

Herbalism, or herbal medicine, is a holistic prostate cancer treatment with the healing properties of plants and plant extracts at the center of the treatment. Some of the most accepted components of herbal medicine include St. John’s Wort, lemon juice, Green Tea, Honey, Grapefruit, Black Cohash, Poultices, Juniper Berry, and Eucalyptus. Herbal treatment is especially highly regarded in Europe.

Alternative prostate cancer treatment compared to conventional prostate cancer treatment.
Conventional prostate cancer treatment are administered by members of the medical community, including physical therapists, psychologists, and nurses. Conventional prostate cancer treatment is subjected to intense study to ensure its effectiveness and safety. Hormone treatment and radiation are conventional therapies for prostate cancer treatment. Removing the testicles, in a surgical procedure called orchiectomy, is another traditional prostate cancer treatment. As is chemotreatment. Cancer cells are also customarily frozen as a part of a cryosurgery.

There are two common surgical procedures used to treat prostate cancer. They are the radical prostatectomy and the transurethal resection of the prostate (TURP). Radical prostatectomy surgery is usually performed once the cancer has not spread outside of the prostate gland.

There are two types of radical prostatectomy procedures, the radical retropubic and the perineal approach. The transurethal resection of the prostate is performed to curtail prostate swelling.

Luteinizing hormone-releasing analogs and luteinizing hormone-releasing antagonists are prostate cancer medications designed to inhibit the release of the cancer-inducing luteinzing hormone-releasing hormone from the brain. Luteinizing altering drugs are a staple in prostate cancer treatment .

Prostate cancer treatment is not characterized by the same level of study or scrutiny-signifying the greatest difference between alternative prostate cancer treatment and most traditional methods of treating the disease.

How to Feng Shui your Bedroom – 5 Basic Feng Shui Bedroom Tips

When someone starts to feng shui their home, there are some areas that you might need help in figuring out where to start. The process that I underwent to feng shui my home would have been a lost cause had I not had some wonderful assistance. But my favorite room to feng shui was my bedroom. My bedroom is a comfortable place that I love. I love my bed and the way it looks in my room and I truly love the peace I get when I go into my room to sleep. There are some feng shui bedroom tips that I will share with you so that you can speed along the process of calming your life. There are five main feng shui bedroom tips that I feel to be very important. One that is important is lighting. The lighting that is present in your bedroom is really important with feng shui. If you have really bright lights or hideous light fixtures, that can kill your feng shui efforts. Different levels of lighting are one of the feng shui bedroom tips that I feel is very important. To be able to dim your lights helps to create a warm atmosphere that brings a calming effect and will make your room seem very inviting.

Something else I would like to point out in my feng shui bedroom tips is that you should do away with big things like workout equipment, televisions and even computers. These are things that are big, bulky and don’t signal peace. By having these in your bedroom you are chasing away the ability to have a feng shui bedroom. It might be hard to do but trust me, this is a part of the feng shui bedroom tips that will bring about surprising results. You might be thinking that you fall asleep watching television and so it has to stay. But by falling asleep with a television, you are nodding off with those last images on your brain. You won’t be able to let your body rest in the way that it needs to if you do that.

A part of the feng shui bedroom tips that will make a huge effect is to think about the pictures that you hang on your wall. When you pick out something to hang on your bedroom wall, it should be something that you hope to do one day or of something really great that you already did. If there was a special trip that you went on that you never want to forget, pictures of that would be good to hang. Keep in mind that you should never hang pictures that make you sad. Remember as one of my feng shui bedroom tips, feng shui is to help create a happy and positive atmosphere. Do what you need to so that negative feelings won’t be in your space.

Bed placement is something that you might not think about as one of the feng shui bedroom tips but it’s something that you should think about. If you just toss your bed anywhere in your room, odds are that it’s not going to flow well. Placing your bed so that one side is up against a wall is not good with feng shui. You want to be able to easily access both sides of your bed. That is part of being able to feng shui your bedroom.

The last tip that I want to give you with my feng shui bedroom tips is to shut up all your doors before climbing into bed. If you leave the doors open you are allowing your positive energy to have too much room. Leaving the doors closed will keep all of your positive energy near you as you sleep at night.

Honda CB400T Hawk

Honda CB400T Hawk

Honda had a head start in the 4-stroke sub-500cc, class, replacing its aging CB360 in 1977 with an all-new 400cc OHC 180-degree parallel twin boasting three valves in each -pentroof- cylinder head chamber.

Restyled for 1980, the CB400 gained an extra hear to make six, lost its kickstarter and replaced 32mm Keihins with 30mm versions, though now with an accelerator pump to fix jerky throttle transitions. The pressed steel backbone chassis used the engine as a stressed member and ran on Honda’s composite ComStar wheels sprung by a conventional front fork and dual rear shocks. Front brake was disc, with a drum rear.

Honda tuned the CB400 engine for midrange torque, courtesy of its -power chamber- exhaust collector box, but it still turned in a respectable 14.3 second quarter-mile run at 91 mph. And on the road, Cycle magazine found it to be -one of the bet handling motorcycles available today,- with -light, precise and responsive steering.- Cycle’s gripes were limited to noticeable driveline lash, a fade-prone front brake, vibration at high revs and cheap, stiction-prone fork seals. They also noted a few missing conveniences, including the lack of an integrated steering lock and no self-canceling turn signals.

Summing up its impressions, Cycle Guide called the CB400T -a bike that answers your commands instantly and zigs around corners with speed that will be the envy of 750cc riders.-

Top Ten Feng Shui Tips

We know that Feng Shui is one of the most popular and the most referred philosophies for living in harmony in any architectural structure. Although many people consider it to be difficult and hard to implement, it has been observed that Feng Shui is more on the basis of common sense.

The first tip is quiet simple. Keep your windows clean and tidy. Feng Shui states that windows represents opportunities. And dirty windows would obviously mean, blocking the opportunities, which we wouldn’t like to happen.

The next tip is even simpler. Search for those rooms in your home, including bath room, where the lights are broken and replace them right away. Feng Shui says its as good as lighting up the future, relationship and career. This is one of the major energy circle.

The third tip too is quite simple. Tighten up all the loose and hanging handles and knobs of doors and drawer. It often symbolizes and improves the way in which you can handle situations and circumstances.

The fourth suggestion is to keep the plants inside the home always watered and green, and not let them dry up. They represent wealth, vitality and enthusiasm, and it better be green all the time.

Fifth is to keep your toilet lids closed, this is emphasized in Feng Shui in order to protect our energy from being drained unnecessarily. Developing the habit of keeping the lid closed, according to Feng Shui, will bring in us the ability to retain the energy.

The sixth suggestion looks at Feng Shui in the Bedroom, and keeping the space under the bed clean and clutter-free. Usually people put in all unwanted stuff under the beds and often complain of lack of sleep. Feng Shui names them as evil forces which take off your sleep, thus get rid of the things under your bed and wipe the floor clean. This should get you a good night sleep.

The next tip is to keep the mirrors always clean so that we can always look at our self without any obstruction. It gives us the ability to analyze and correct our self and brings into a zone of self confidence.

The eighth tip suggests that one should have a properly marked entry way. By this one could be sure that people can easily find us, and so will the positive energies of life. This is what Feng Shui suggests.

The ninth tip is to repair all leakages at home, be it in the pipelines or in the tap. Make sure none of them are dripping. According to Feng Shui, dripping taps represents draining money, which is not a good sign. So better get it fixed before you lose your money big time.

The number ten tip is to make sure that no windows or doors are directly across from each other. This results into good and bad energy flowing in the home, and we don’t want any of them to enter the home. The bad energy is said to cause death and pain in the home.

Apply these and bring peace to your home and its dwellers.

Feng Shui And The White House

By Kartar Diamond

The original White House in Washington, D.C. was built in 1792. It burned down and was re-built in 1815. Houses are built within 20 year construction cycles that repeat every 180 years. In this regard, the “energy” of the re-built White House is similar to structures that were built 180 years later (1995).

These south-facing “Period 7” houses have both positive and negative features that not only affect the First Family living there, but also make a general statement about our country’s “feng shui,” (i.e.health, prosperity, or reputation as a nation.) In the same way that Chinese Feng Shui Masters make predictions about the Chinese Stock Market, based on the building where the stocks are traded, we can make correlations about the White House’s feng shui symbolizing how American are doing.

The energy at the center of the White House is a 3-2 Flying Star pattern. ***The Flying Star School of Feng Shui takes into account the age of the building and the precise compass alignment. These numbers are code for UNSEEN influences, in the same way that H2O stands for “water.” When this 3-2 energy pattern is in the very center of a house, it means there is greater potential for gossip, arguments, and legal conflicts. Legal problems is not necessarily bad for a government building (that’s the nature of what a government building deals with), but the “3” energy also implies scandal.

Mud-slinging between political parties is an American tradition and the levels of scandal and deception continue to rise. A feng shui consultant did an evaluation of the White House in the mid-1990’s, which was published in an article in Newsweek magazine, where she predicted a sexual scandal long before the Clinton/Lewinsky story broke.

Can Feng Shui predict who will win the election? With enough information, it is possible to make a guesstimate. In the 2000 Election, some astrologers were not able to announce who would win because they were only looking at the positioning of the stars on that very Election Day. It was very indecisive energy that day for both candidates. As we all know, weeks later when we found out the results. If an astrologer had looked into each man’s personal chart, not just on Election Day, but months down the road, then it would have been more obvious who would take over as President.

With analysis of the White House alone, not considering the specific people living inside, the predictions would have to be more general. One thing is for sure, this south-facing building, with a south door, has the annual “9 fire” energy at the entrance this year. This 9 energy is highly volatile. In fact, it often predicts fire accidents and explosions. (Every building has annual cycles that change from year to year, like having a guest stay with you for that whole time.) In a general sense, the occupants in this house will have a very intense year. This can also extend to the American people. By the way, the very center of every structure this year has some very aggravated energy which can contribute to arguments. Lots of otherwise happy people may find themselves more agitated and argumentative with family members or co-workers this year.

For those of you who are new to feng shui, you may have found this article surprising in its commonality to astrology. Authentic Feng Shui factors in both timing and direction of a building, just like astrology requires a birth place and time to create a chart and make predictions.
